Ramble on

Louis stared at his alarm clock. He had to be up in three hours for work and he hadn't slept a wink. All Louis could think about was the man he met walking home late from the bar last night. He had been out with a couple friends on Saturday night and as the night came to an end, Louis split off and began his walk home. He had made it over half the way back when he heard something around the corner, which he found to be a man replacing a man hole cover. The man spots Louis eye balling him and walks over to him. As he gets close Louis notices he's wearing raggedy, filthy clothes, is covered in dirt, and smells like raw sewage. Louis asks what he was doing down there when the man responds almost giddy with joy. The Sewer Man expresses his love for the sewers and how they made him truly free. Louis stands there, dumbstruck. "It's not going to kill you" Ben told him. He'd heard it several times before, that it's perfectly safe, it won't kill you or give you flashbacks every time you crack your back.  Ben continued on about how it makes you feel like a kid again, full of curiosity and joy, and it seemed like Nick was starting to come around on the matter.  "Well maybe I'll try one and see how it goes." Nick said as he took a small piece of paper and placed it on his tongue. The next day, Nick was awestruck. Why are people so against this? Well it's been almost a year of preaching my thoughts to a non-existent audience, and to celebrate I will share the beginning of a story I wrote. A story outlining my descent into an acid induced stage of lunacy. I never finished the final chapter as it contained so much it's hard to articulate, but maybe one day I will. It's a shame about Peter dinklage. He is an absolutely PHENOMENAL actor. Honestly imo the best one in game of thrones. But he doesnt get a shot to really showcase his talents. Not because he's short so not considered, but because roles are often created and then the actor to suit is searched for. Peter only fills a small portion of roles available, and more often than not, any role where a short person may be the best choice is when they are a primary role in the story (and their height plays an influencing factor in the plot) or they have them as a side character. I don't recall seeing one movie where a short person plays the main role but their height isn't of any relativity in the story. Albeit that could be because humans will create challenges for short people regardless of the situation/environment, but regardless, it is truly all a shame.
